Needham Mkt Exhibition (ONE MRC)

This was a very sad day, on arrival at the show we were informed that after ten years this show was to be the last. Over the years I have exhibited or visited every show and have to say this was one of the most friendly and family orientated shows in East Anglia, it will be sadly missed.

During the course of the day my wife took some photos of the layouts nearest to us, here are the results.

Alex Bridge revisited

Having put four layouts up for sale about a month ago, and three of them selling almost straight away. I wondered why Alex Bridge had not sold, so I thought I would revisit the layout by means of a photo shoot. The  original articles on this blog of the layout were more focussed on the loco’s and not the layout itself.

I did have some offers, but they all fell short of my evaluation. I have revised my expectations downwards slightly as my move to O gauge continues apace. Email for further details.

Morlock Heath at Bury St Edmunds Exhibition.

The following are photo’s taken by my wife at this years Bury St Edmunds Exhibition at their new venue at Beyton College. This was a much enlarged site and was approx double their previous Shows.

I would again like to thank Graham and Shaun for their support on the day, they certainly bore the brunt of the operating. They also brought along some stock which features in the below photo’s.

Thanks also to Marc and all the BSE members for a very memorable day. Thanks also to all the people that spoke to us about our projects.

Now a few photo’s of some of Shauns Main Line Loco’s – although out of period they went down very well with the visitors.

Morlock Heath at Bressingham MRE

Sunday 3rd September was the debut of Morlock at Bressingham Gardens Model Railway Day. Here we have a selection of Photo’s taken by my wife during the Exhibition. Thankfully the layout run extremely well all day and many good comments were received. Special thanks must go to Graham, Shaun and my son John, they did the lions share of the operating during the day. We discovered a couple of issues with some wagons and a clearance problem with the connecting rods on the Dapol 08’s, these will be corrected by the next Exhibition at Bury St Edmunds this coming Saturday .
