After John and myself took advantage of the current offers on Heljan 05’s, Graham decided to take the plunge and purchase a ‘Blue’ variety.

As modelled this is the wrong type of 05 for the only example that ended up in Blue on the Isle of Wight. The modifications to make it into the correct, earlier example were just more than we wanted to do.  Enter 97803 and modellers licence!

I have to say I very much enjoyed numbering and weathering this ‘tongue in cheek’  model !!!
