This is a single OO Loco that I added to my O Gauge weathering run. It is a light to medium with lots of hard water scaling.

Hornby Dublo Layout
Our Group has another new member, Peter Willis is a well known Exhibition Manager and Exhibitor in East Anglia. Peters first layout available within the group is a Hornby Dublo demonstration layout. It represents Meccano Products made in the 1940’s and 50’s.

Hornby J50 in OO
This is a re-number and light weathering. The Loco is a Norwich (32A) loco as seen in the mid 1950’s. It was used for Loco release in the station area.

Three OO Bachmann Ale wagons
This is a re-weathering job as they came factory weathered. I have to say that Bachmann did a very good job – but they looked very ‘flat’ and a bit ‘light’. I did my usual wash and wipe with Matt Black and then re-sprayed the underframe using four colours rather than the original one colour spray.
Getting the Matt Black in the boarding gaps really brings their appearance to life.

Three Brake Vans weathered in OO
These Brake Vans have been sprat and winkle fitted and weathered. They are to be added to the stock of Lowe St, my recently sold layout which is now owned by Nick.

More Locos for Lowe St.
After selling Lowe St to Nick he has added to his stock – I have spent the last couple of days adding Sprat & winkle couplings to nine wagons and loops to two locos. I have then weathered the lot.
Here are the locos, the wagons will follow in batches of three over the next few days.

BR 3MT 2-6-2 82029 (OO)
This is a loco I purchased a long time ago. I super detailed it and used it on my steam depot layout of the time ‘Alex Bridge’. When I sold the layout and most of its stock, this Loco was overlooked and not sold. I have now given the loco a light weathering before moving on to its new owner.

D8015 in Green weathered -OO
Here is a OO Class 20 D8015. I have weathered it as a ‘living with steam engines’ diesel in the late 50’s. I have left the headcode discs off so that my friend Ian can chose his own display to suit its duty of the day.

OO J15 re-worked
This is a Hornby J15 that I have re-worked as an earlier variety. It has now got the ‘British Railways’ logo and has been renumbered. The Loco has then received a medium weathering consisting of a dusting of grime by airbrush and then some dry brushing to highlight various details.
HMRS Transfers, Railmatch and Humbrol paints used.

Ivatt 4MT in OO Gauge
This is a Loco that used to run on a layout that I sold several years ago. Since then it has just been stored awaiting a new project that so far has not materialised. It has now been serviced, re-numbered and BR Logo changed to an early crest. It should be going to a new home soon. It is lightly weathered, has a lamp added, Screw couplings and pipes and has real coal.
