Strachan – revisiting an old friend

After a Facebook conversation with my old friend Les Williams, he sent me some photo’s of the layout I made for him nearly 20 years ago. That layout was Strachan, and it has certainly stood the test of time. Strachan appeared in several modelling magazines at the time and was on the Exhibition circuit for over 10 years. Les has really looked after the old girl and she still looks very fresh.

More Laser Cut for Mission Road

Although I still need more buildings for the layout, I have now finished off all my stored Laser Cut buildings etc. Each of the last three items were cut, shuts and amalgamations to make somethings ‘a bit different’. I can really recommend this method of using Laser Cut Kits for making different buildings. A lot of painting and weathering is coming soon!

This Laser Cut shed is the replacement for the original Plastic one. I however utilised the roof and re-profiled the shed doors for re-use.
