Two Dapol B4 weathered (O Gauge)

Here are a pair of the Dapol B4 that I have weathered, all the usual methods used, plus one extra – I thought the plastic body was a bit shiny so I coated them with a 50-50 coating of mixed Satin and Matt Varnish before weathering. I have weathered one Loco ‘light to medium’ and the other ‘medium to heavy’. See the difference with the photo of them side by side.

Beattie Well Tank weathered (0 Gauge)

This is my Beattie Well Tank. The kit was purchased and made several years ago but only just weathered – Thanks to Ian Hammond who sorted out the gremlins with the motor/gearbox – now a smooth runner.

Dapol MK1’s weathered (O Gauge)

Here are a pair of Mk1’s – a SO and a CK – these are again heading to Australia for my mate Graham. They have had the roof and underframe done to medium level, but the sides have been totally cleaned apart from residue in the door frames. It would have been nice to photograph these two coaches with the Class 27 that I recently finished – sadly my old photo plank is not large enough.

This is a loco I weathered for Ian Hammond a couple of weeks ago. Ian did a complete rebuild and repaint, renumber and name on this Loco. It is destined for our dear friend Mike Boutle in a weeks time – enjoy Mike.

BR 2MT 78018 in O Gauge

This is a loco I have had for a few months and have been slowly working on it. Yesterday I completed it with a Medium to Heavy weathering. It was a partial repaint and touch up as well as cab detailing and re-transferring warning flashes.
