J15 in OO with Tender Cab
Here we have a Hornby OO J15 with an added Tender Cab. This is a 3D printed item from NIU Models. This is a straight forward addition with the minimum trimming needed, but it will need a small painting job, a little weathering will help blend Tender Cab. We chose the Loco number from actual photos to ensure the finished model is prototypical.

OO Sentinel Pair Weathered
Here are two Sentinels, one straight from the box, but the other has moved from LNER branding to Early BR and in Departmental service. Getting transfers for the move to a Departmental Loco proved very difficult – the Departmental Loco and number were obtained from Fox transfers, but I could not trace any Civil Engineers transfers of the correct size and BR(E) logo. In the end I cut up some ‘Beer Wagon’ transfers in O Gauge to form the BR.E logo that was also used on this type engine – but not No. 42. I will call this a fair representation rather than accurate for the No 42.
I have also added some extra coal since the photos were taken.

Holmes J36 in O Gauge.
Just spent the last of my Swap-meet sales money on this beauty – 65327 Prototype made in 1900 and withdrawn in 1965. I need to change the late BR logo to the early version and of course weather it – but no time to do that at present.

47231 Speedlink in O Gauge
My latest O Gauge Diesel is 47231 in 3 tone grey and named ‘The Silcocks Express’. I recently sold a lot of OO stock at a Swap-meet and the move to O Gauge continues. This Engine was a member of the Tinsley Speedlink allocation and performed all over the country. I even have a photo of it working a Summer Saturday passenger train in the late 80’s.

Just named and numbered Class 33 number 33019 Griffon – had this Loco since they came out, but only just got around to doing this task. Will be weathered eventually, but I am way behind, lets hope we have a good summer!

Old Friends from the Mid 80’s
Here are three O Gauge Copies of engines I saw regularly over 30 years ago. I purchased the models over a year ago and have just got around to adding the transfers and detailing. They of course will be suitably weathered, but that’s a way off as yet.

3 X O Gauge Diesels
Here are three Diesels I have just numbered, lettered and named. All will be weathered when I catch up. The nameplates are Protoneo and the transfers are Railtec. The NR Class 31 is so bright, I may just let that one jump the weathering queue or get some tinted glasses!!!!
