London Transport is the reason the O Gauge layout Dark Lane was Built – I just wanted something a bit different. It was also decided to use DCC Sound in all Locos – four Ex GWR panniers.

Some BR(S) Locos on Dark Lane
Here we have some BR(S) Locos posed on my Dark Lane Layout. Although Dark Lane is a DCC layout, I do use it as a Photo Plank to Photograph non fitted Locos. Below are some of the photos taken this morning.
BR(W) Shunters Truck in O Gauge
This is the latest project finished. It is A Scorpio Models Brass kit, made by Graham M and painted and weathered by myself. It will run on at least two of my layouts – possibly three. It will run with my BR Western Region Pannier Tanks mainly, but may be used on other Tank Engines as well.
O Gauge J15 on Little Sefton.
This a J15 lightly weathered – I have had this Loco for about 15 years – it used to run on my long retired Hobbs Lane Layout. It will move to my latest O gauge steam shed Mission Road when it is finished.
J17 and D16/3 on Little Sefton
Here are another pair of Locos posed on the famous daily freight. These are O gauge Locos weathered and detailed.

Farewell Ebridge Mill
Recently our group split and we all went our separate ways. Ebridge was owned by us all and it has now been sold to another friend. Ebridge was made by Mike and Graham and did many exhibitions including Warley – I am not sure whether it will remain on the exhibition circuit.
Two N7/3 in O Gauge
Here we have two Hill N7/3’s – one fully weathered and the other just out of works in immaculate condition. I never weather all my locos and always leave about one in ten as ex works. I remember this in the mid/late 50’s when I was a lad – sadly by the early sixties most engines were in an awful state, even the early diesels!
Todays Freight Loco -J50
The Little Sefton Daily Freight today is Norwich based J50 – 68905. It usually was on Loco release work at Thorpe Station – but escaped for the trip down to Little Sefton, my O Gauge Layout.
D2212 Class 04 in O Gauge.
This is D2212. A Great Yarmouth based Loco used to run on the Quay beside the River Yare. This is a converted white metal kit with an etched brass cab.
O Gauge J67-68-69 shunts Little Sefton
After a photo session yesterday with Little Sefton, the above locos were posed and photographed. All have been weathered to varying degrees.
