Yesterday my Son helped me move the O Gauge Station Layout into its new home in the Garage. It went reasonably well, but I did have to revise the fiddle yard again as the entry door into the Garage would not shut properly, lost a bit of storage, but I have an option to build a new fiddle yard later.

Pleased to say that my measurements were good and it fitted after moving some unused baseboards into the Shed.

I had already started a few buildings and walls and I have placed them where I had originally thought they might go, but I will rethink most of their positions. I still need to purchase a Yard Crane and Coaling and Watering Loco facilities. I already have the signals.

The next job is to clean all the track and see how things run. It has not been running since 2018 so may take some remedial work – fingers crossed.

I would like to pick a name for the Layout as soon as possible so it easier to follow the progress.
